Board of Directors
Southwest Swim Club is officially the Southwest Swimming Association, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation. SWSA is run by a Board of Directors which is made up of volunteers from the membership. The Board handles many of the ongoing duties of running the organization, such as budgets, taxes, facility upkeep, membership, and so on. Please refer to the SWSA Bylaws for all details regarding the Board and its duties.
SWSA elects new board members at the Annual Membership Meeting held every March. Board members are on staggered 3-year rotations so that only a few positions are filled each year.

Southwest Swim Club (SWSA) operates as a private, member-owned organization dedicated to providing high-quality aquatic and athletic facilities for its community. The club’s primary mission is to offer a safe and engaging environment for members and their guests. The facility underwent a significant reconstruction in 2014, resulting in a modern aquatic center that includes a large diving well, two diving boards, six lap lanes, and a dedicated sun deck. For younger children, the club maintains a separate, fenced shallow baby pool.
Beyond swimming, the organization manages a comprehensive range of athletic facilities. The grounds include three tennis courts, a pickleball court, a basketball court, a beach volleyball court, shuffleboard, and an enclosed playground. Operations are supported by a professional staff of lifeguards certified by the Red Cross or Starguard. The club also hosts a swim team, offers swimming lessons, and provides opportunities for tennis instruction, fostering a family-oriented atmosphere focused on fitness and recreation.
